SEARCHING TOO: Josh's Story

Josh has sickle cell anemia. His only chance for a cure is a bone marrow transplant. He has been waiting for a compatible donor for a few years. His search is more challenging because of his African American heritage.

Patients are most likely to match donors with the same ancestry, but African Americans make up only 7% of the Be The Match Registry. The power to change this dismal statistic is in your hands. Join the #BeTheMatch Bone Marrow Donor Registry today.

You can join in person at the #Bucky2theBone donor registration drive on October 11, 2015, or join online right now.

Please help us spread the word about the need for more marrow donors. Thanks!
